After a massive amount of speculation and leaks, the Pokemon Company have finally announced Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee for the Nintendo Switch. Set to be released on November 16th, “it’s a classic Pokemon RPG to Nintendo Switch with gameplay that is easily approachable for newcomers to the series, but is also deep enough to keep veteran Trainers on their toes.”
It can not only be played with only one Joy-Con, but it also supports two players simultaneously using the same Switch. Additionally, Nintendo will release a Poke Ball Plus that can be used for both games and take the place of the Joy-Cons.
Pricing and a release date for the Poke Ball Plus haven’t been announced yet.
There’s also Pokemon GO integration that lets players transfer their Pokemon to the Switch games and receive rewards for doing so.
That’s just some of the Pokemon news that came out today and I’ll have separate posts that break all those down.
